Hell Above

Chapter 2
Every year would be the same. She hated life but if she ever killed herself the deal would be burned. Yami knew all about her own legend but she wouldn’t tell anyone about it.  The demons who would walk by the woods have found the lost child. The demons were known as Zess and Luka. Luka wanted to take Yami back with them to show everyone that she was still alive. She refused to go. Zess tried to reason with her but after a while she decided to go. She learned more about her past and about her parents on her way back to hell.
The devil felt the presence of the lost child within his castle. She walked right in the castle as if it was her own house. She walked up to the devil and asked
“You’re my father’s brother?”
He answered “I have been looking for you for almost 10 years now”
“That’s not what I asked, are you my father’s brother or not!?”
“Haven’t your adopted family taught you any manners? Don’t you know any better than to talk to the devil like that?”
“I burned their house down and ran away; do you really think I would have an adopted family?”
“You really are like your father.”
“Tell me more about him.”
“I will, as soon as everyone knows that the lost child has been found.”
After that the devil went on the balcony to announce that the lost child had been found. Soon after that, everyone wanted to know what exactly happened to her while she was lost. They also wanted know if she knew about the legend and if she knew about her parents. Yami was an interesting child. The devil wanted to make sure no one could have her, so he wanted to keep her in his castle but she refused. Yami didn’t want to stay in the castle with him.
Yami returned to earth. She went back to her own home in the woods. Somewhere no one could find her. When she got there, there was something unexpected there. The demons who had found her and returned her to hell were waiting for her in her home. Somehow they knew she would refuse to stay with the devil. Zess had learned about her father and how he was short tempered and also how he refused anything he didn’t like. Luka learned with what Zess had told her about Yami’s father.
