Hell Above

Chapter 3
Yami refused to answer any questions Luka and Zess had asked. Yami just left the house right after that. She went wandering into the woods, when she came across something she had never seen before. Because of the mutation her father had given her she was finally able to use her demon eye. With them she could see things no ordinary human can see. She saw two spirits wandering around. Because she knew what her parents looked like she was able to recognize these spirits. She looked at them and started walking closer and asked.
“Can you hear me?”
The spirits had answered “Yes we can, we could also see you. Oh honey, look how beautiful she’s gotten and how big she is.”
Yami was unable to touch them, for now that is. The mutation her father given her wasn’t completely finished just yet. There were still a couple things in the mutation that weren’t completely processed. Yami wanted to touch the spirits so that she could hug them. But when she tried touching them they would disappear. But then they would appear somewhere close to her.
Soon enough she met a friend who was completely different from her. He was from a different species his name was Len, and he was a werewolf. He was tall; his eyes were dark brown, almost colorless. His hair was dark brown, whenever he became a werewolf his eyes would be red, like blood, and his hair would be a bit lighter. They understood each other’s pain. Surprisingly Len knew about Yami’s legend. He knew more about her than she knew about herself. They became close friends throughout the years. They both reached the age 16.
They ended up growing up with each other. They were more like brother and sister to them. They would go to school and walk each other there and they would walk home together. Throughout the years the devil would be watching her. But when he realized that she was getting close to Len he would visit him privately. At night Yami would take midnight walks. During that time Len goes out to hunt something for a midnight snack. While he’s on his hunt the devil would give him a surprise visits. Len would get mad when he lets his prey get away.
The devil would tell him “I’m warning you Len…”
Len interrupted “How do you know my name?”
“I’ve been watching you, now stay away from Yami if you ever get close to her again I will kill you and the rest of your kind.”
“Why is so bad to be with her?”
“You are not welcomed among the demons and with you here with her can cause harm to us all, do you understand?”
“No I don't. I'm just one person I'm not going out killing demons. It's not within my power, and what I have power over is the people I chose to see”
"Well I guess my threat to you was no big deal, because like you said your just one person. So who cares your dead I might as well wipe your entire species off this earth."
"...wait. Fine I'll do as you wish. Just leave then alone they have nothing to do with this."
“Good, now tell her you can’t see her anymore and go away, forever.”
“...Yes sir”
After that Len stopped hunting and went back. Yami was waiting for him to return. Len saw her, then walked away to get his stuff.
He then told her “I can’t see you anymore.”
“What?! Why? Did I do something wrong?”
“No, you didn’t, I just….I…can’t see you anymore ok.”
“Could I at least know the reason why?”
“Because if I get close to you again I’ll ruin everything for you and your kind, besides I made a deal with the devil…I just want you to know that….I love you…” He turns to look away and walks into the woods and disappeared.
